About MGC

Built by doing
the work.

Behind every connection are people who understand what it takes to make it happen. We bring engineering, field experience, and relationships together to move critical infrastructure forward.

History

One school district.
A much bigger purpose.

2008A connection that started it all.

MGC began with a project close to home: helping founder Mike Carpenter’s childhood school district connect its facilities.

The challenge went beyond drawing a route. It meant bringing people together, understanding the public environment, and finding a path that could actually be built.

That experience shaped the way we work today. From early feasibility through construction support, we connect technical decisions with the people, approvals, and field conditions that determine what happens next.

The scope has grown.
The reason behind the work remains.
Markets

Different needs.
Connected by infrastructure.

Every market brings its own priorities. We help align the technical, public, and practical requirements so the project can move forward with a shared understanding.

Telecommunications

From long-haul corridors to metro networks, enterprise connections, and fiber to the home. We connect route planning, engineering, permitting, and construction support.

Utilities

Infrastructure that operates within a shared public environment. We help teams understand existing facilities, coordinate stakeholders, and plan for the work ahead.

Government & public agencies

Public projects with many voices at the table. We bring project needs, right-of-way requirements, and jurisdictional coordination into the same conversation.

Education & public institutions

Connections that support learning, services, and community access. Our roots in school connectivity continue to inform how we approach institutional networks.

Data centers & private development

Early decisions with lasting consequences. We help evaluate connectivity, routes, site constraints, and approval pathways before plans advance.

Our Work

From a possible route
to a practical path forward.

Our work lives where design, approvals, and field conditions meet. We help teams make informed decisions and keep those decisions connected as projects move toward delivery.

Network infrastructure

Connecting places.

Long-haul fiber corridors, metro networks, and last-mile connections. Bringing route intelligence, engineering, and permitting together around a buildable plan.

Public environments

Aligning the people.

Projects that cross jurisdictions, rights-of-way, and utility systems. Coordinating requirements and dependencies before they become surprises in the field.

Delivery & closeout

Carrying the detail through.

Construction support, inspection, and asset records. Keeping observations, changes, and project information useful to the next person who needs them.

Feasibility. Engineering. Permitting. Project Management.
Inspection. Asset Management. Analytics.
